Old Mill enters its third decade as part of Kinbrook Group's growing national network

Old Mill is celebrating its 20th anniversary, supporting clients, investing in its people and evolving into one of the South West’s leading multidisciplinary professional services firms. The milestone also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as part of Kinbrook Group’s growing national network of regional businesses.

From its roots as a regional accountancy practice, Old Mill has supported thousands of clients through offices in Exeter, Chippenham, WellsYeovil and Ilminster with its 300+ strong team.

Old Mill 20th anniversary

14th August 2026

Today, Old Mill advises businesses, entrepreneurs, landed estates and private individuals, helping them navigate an increasingly complex financial, tax and regulatory environment. While the business is well known for its work in the rural sector, it has continued to broaden its specialist capabilities, with growing demand for tax, financial planning, corporate finance and business advisory services driving its evolution over the past two decades.

The milestone comes during a period of significant progress for both Old Mill and Kinbrook Group. Since establishing the Group in 2023, Kinbrook has built a UK-wide professional services platform by partnering with high-quality, established businesses that share strong regional reputations, deep client relationships and a people-first culture.

For every business that joins Kinbrook, firms retain their identity, leadership teams and heritage while benefiting from investment, shared infrastructure, innovation and collaboration across the wider network. This model enables businesses to remain close to their communities while gaining access to broader resources, capabilities and opportunities through the Group.

Old Mill and its outsourced finance division, Brook Financial, joined Kinbrook Group in November 2025, providing the Group’s South West focus. Through Kinbrook’s collaborative model, clients benefit from seamless access to specialist support across accountancy, tax, financial planning, corporate finance, outsourced finance and wider advisory services, while continuing to receive the personal service and trusted relationships that have always been central to the Old Mill approach.

Mark Neath, CEO of Old Mill, commented: “Reaching our 20th anniversary is an important moment for everyone connected with Old Mill. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the relationships we’ve built with our clients, the talent and commitment of our people, and the values that have shaped the business over the past two decades.

“We’ve grown significantly by listening to our clients and evolving our services to meet changing needs. Today, we’re able to offer a broad range of services that support businesses and individuals through every stage of their journey.”

Kinbrook’s acquisition strategy focuses on partnering with established regional firms that have built trusted brands and strong market positions. The Group provides the support while preserving the culture, leadership and identity that have contributed to each business’s achievements.

With Old Mill joining founding businesses Duncan & Toplis and Beavis Morgan Group, Kinbrook’s network now spans 24 offices nationwide. The Group continues to expand across the UK, bringing together respected regional organisations that share its commitment to high-quality client service, long-term relationships and sustainable development.

Mark Neath added: “The last 20 years have seen enormous change in the way businesses operate. Advances in technology have transformed how financial information is accessed and used, giving business owners greater visibility and control than ever before. At the same time, Old Mill has evolved alongside our clients, adapting our services and advice to meet their changing needs.”

“What hasn’t changed is the importance of understanding the people behind a business. The strongest relationships are built over time, and that insight allows us to provide advice that reflects not only where a business is today, but also the journey it has taken and the ambitions it has for the future.”

“As Old Mill enters its third decade, our focus remains on helping clients succeed, developing the next generation of talent, supporting the communities we serve and building lasting value through the strength, collaboration and shared ambition of the wider Kinbrook Group.”
