Who else will support the High Sheriff’s Somerset youth fundraiser?
Old Mill Accountants and Financial Planners will be the key sponsor for the event, alongside local solicitors Mogers Drewett, and the event venue itself, North Cadbury Court. Money raised from the event will be distributed by the High Sheriff to small local charities and organisations in Somerset.
How the High Sheriff’s charity event will help young people in Somerset
The fundraiser will follow a ‘007 theme’ with black-tie attire encouraged. Cocktails, dinner, entertainment, dancing, a silent auction, and even a casino will feature throughout the night.
Speaking ahead of the event, the High Sheriff, Janet Montgomery, said: “This event will be raising funds for the High Sheriff’s Charitable Trust – with my current focus being on Somerset’s young people, getting behind those smaller local charities and organisations which operate at a grassroots level within our community to offer initiatives which build personal confidence, self-esteem and future purpose, ultimately helping to deter our young from a life of anti-social behaviour.“
