Performance of the Old Mill Portfolios

Performance since the last insight (from Friday 3 November 2023 to Friday 1 December 2023)

We spoke last month about the rapidly falling inflation we are seeing across most developed countries. Now central banks are waiting to see what the impact of current interest rates will have on their economies and have moved away from the possibility of increasing interest rates.  This news has seen both equities and bonds respond positively as pressure for further interest rate rises reduces.

Performance over the last year (up to Friday 1 December 2023)

Over the year portfolios are just showing positive performance although as you can see there has been a rollercoaster of returns, depending on the risk profile you chose.

Longer term performance (up to Friday 1 December 2023)

Investing is a longer-term pursuit and taking a look at the ten-year graph to the beginning of December, the portfolios are showing a more robust picture depending on the risk you have taken.

Performance since the last insight (from Friday 3 November 2023 to Friday 1 December 2023)

Sustainable portfolios have outperformed over the period as, in particular, the main ESG screened global equity fund has performed well.

Performance over the last year (up to Friday 1 December 2023)

Performance over the last year to the beginning of December for sustainable portfolios has also been positive when compared to the original portfolios.

Longer term performance (up to Friday 1 December 2023)

The sustainable portfolios have only been available to our investors for the last five years, but the graph below shows the longer time frame of ten years showing the potential upside over longer periods.

Longer term performance of the sustainable portfolios shows robust growth.
