Head of Wealth Management, Chartered Financial Planner

Duncan Parkes is Head of Wealth Management at Old Mill, based in Exeter. He leads the firm’s Wealth Management practice, overseeing its financial planning, pensions and trusts services and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality advice and client service. Duncan also chairs the Old Mill Financial Planning Board and is a member of both the Old Mill Board and Investment Committee, contributing to the strategic direction and governance of the firm.

An experienced financial services leader, Duncan has a strong background in strategy, governance and risk management. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and creating an environment that enables clients to benefit from trusted, long-term advice. Widely respected within the profession, Duncan is a former recipient of the Personal Finance Society’s Chartered Financial Planner of the Year award and previously served for six years on the Personal Finance Society Power Panel.
