Head of IT

Luke Robertson is Head of IT at Old Mill, based in Wells. He leads the firm’s technology function, with responsibility for IT governance, risk management and cybersecurity. Luke oversees business systems, applications and data initiatives, while managing technology budgets, supplier relationships and service delivery through both internal teams and specialist partners. He is also a member of Old Mill’s Operations Executive team, helping to support the effective delivery of the firm’s wider operational strategy.

Luke specialises in cyber security, Microsoft 365 and project management, with extensive experience in delivering technology solutions that support business performance and resilience. He works closely with stakeholders across the firm to ensure technology remains secure, effective and aligned with business needs. His career highlights include leading complex infrastructure projects, including the implementation of a 30-kilometre point-to-point internet connection that brought fibre-speed connectivity to a rural location, demonstrating his practical and innovative approach to solving technical challenges.
