One such example is OM Financial Planner, Julia Banwell, who advises Rural Clients on their wealth and investments.  Julia, along with her husband Robert, has just won DIY Livery Yard of the Year 2022 for their Mill Farm DIY Livery Yard at Wedmore.

The SEIB Yard of the Year Awards, in association with Horse & Hound, were held earlier in July at Eton College Dorney Lake, Berkshire.

Its purpose was to celebrate and recognise the skills, hard work and talents of equestrian establishments, who make such a difference to so many riders, helping them make the most out of their hobby or sport.

“Mill Farm DIY Livery Yard is recognised as friendly, welcoming and open to all age groups. It is eco friendly using renewable energy and has a focus on recycling. The welfare of the horses is also very important and is reflected in the excellent facilities” – Horse and Hounds

Julia shares many ambitions and activities with her rural clients, in winning this award it reflects that outside interests can enhance understanding, connection and service to clients.  For more information on how Old Mill works with clients enquire here.
