Neil Cox is a Partner in Old Mill’s Rural team, based across the Yeovil and Wells offices. He is the lead adviser to a large portfolio of rural businesses across Somerset and Dorset, helping clients navigate commercial, financial and strategic challenges. Neil plays an active role in business development, supporting both existing and new clients, and is a member of Old Mill’s Rural Leadership Team.

With 30 years’ experience in rural accountancy, including 24 years at Old Mill, Neil has extensive expertise in tax and business planning for rural enterprises. He advises dairy, livestock and arable farming businesses, as well as partnerships and limited companies, on matters including income tax, corporation tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and succession planning. He also has significant experience helping clients navigate partnership and business disputes, providing practical, commercially focused advice tailored to the needs of rural businesses and farming families.
